Immediate Needs for Fall 2026

We have some immediate needs for the upcoming marching season with our growing numbers. Since Fall of 2021 our numbers have increased consistently year to year. Here is the breakdown:

2021: 62
2022: 76
2023: 81
2024: 83
2025: 96
2026: 111 (approx)

This means we are in need of some additional instruments to ensure we have instruments to provide for students! These instruments would need to be ordered no later than the beginning of May so we have a shot at having them by Marching Season!

Note: The prices

  1. Yamaha YMP-204MS Mellophones – $2603/ea (minimum of 2, preference of 4)
  2. Yamaha YTS-26 Tenor Saxophones – $3682/ea (need 3)
  3. Backun Alpha Bass Clarinets – Low C – $4230/ea (need 6)
  4. Baritone Saxophone – $7549.99 (need 1)
  5. Sousaphone or Contra – $9000 (need 1)
  6. King 2341 Tuba – $10,139 (minimum 1, preference of 2)

Small Ticket Items

  1. Foam Rollers (20) – used for body wellness – two assigned for each section

Medium Ticket Items

  1. Intermediate Model Instruments for: (estimate of $1500-3000 per each item)
    • Flute (2)
    • Clarinet (2)
    • Trumpet (2)
    • Trombone (2)

Big Ticket Items

The following items are huge items that we are actively fundraising for and are listed in the order of importance.

  1. Marching Contras – x6 ($8000-$10,000/ea)
    • Can be bought one at a time if needed
  2. New Chairs and Carts (estimate of $8k)
    • We currently have 76 matching black chairs. We are hoping to get 44 more to reach 120 total and carts to go along with them.
  3. New Uniform Tops (estimate of $40k for a full program outfit)
    • We have replaced our bibbers (pants) and purchased 150 black bibbers as of February 2026. We are working towards saving up for “permanent” uniform tops to go with them.
  4. New Drum line Equipment (estimate of $20k for a full outfit)
    • Our current drumline equipment is about 10 years old. The typical life-span of marching band battery equipment is about 7-9 years. Replacing the drum line equipment would benefit a current percussion program of 30 students and students for years to come.

Recurring Items

  1. Marching Band Instrument Repairs/Maintenance – March 2025
    • Estimate of $3k to repair and maintain instruments used during Marching Band season.
  2. Concert Instrument Repairs/Maintenance – June 2025
    • Estimate of $5k to repair and maintain instruments used during Symphonic and Concert Band seasons.
